Busy Bee + Long Table

Busy Bee + Long Table

A day to connect, contribute and create together.

REGISTER NOW

The Art Sanctuary is continually being shaped by the people who bring their energy, ideas and care into the space. Our first Busy Bee + Long Table is an invitation to be part of that process.

Bring a skill, a willingness to get your hands dirty, or simply a perspective you'd like to share. You don't need to be a gardener, builder or maker, just come with your curiosity, your hands and your heart.

We'll begin with introductions and an orientation before breaking into small groups for hands-on projects around the Sanctuary, which may include:

⟢ Gardening, planting and tending the grounds
⟢ Creative projects and making
⟢ Small building, maintenance or repair projects
⟢ Creative brainstorming and problem-solving

The intention isn't simply to get things done, but to work alongside one another, share knowledge and see what can emerge when different skills and perspectives meet.

Then we gather around the table.

Over a shared long-table lunch, we'll reflect on the morning, exchange ideas and imagine what we'd love to see grow at the Art Sanctuary.

The work creates the opportunity for the conversation. The conversation creates the possibility for what comes next.

The Art Sanctuary is growing into a living community, and that community needs opportunities to participate, not just attend.

Come with your skill, your curiosity and your heart.
