[Komorebi (木漏れ日) is a Japanese word describing the dappled light that filters through the leaves of trees]
A mindful creative gathering for adults seeking calm, connection, and expression in community.
Held within the natural surrounds of the Art Sanctuary, Komorebi nature drawing combines grounding exercises, gentle observation, and simple sketching in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Together we will tune into our senses, explore our surroundings, and capture the interplay of light and shadow in nature. No artistic experience is needed; this is an invitation to slow down, observe, and let go of perfection. The process is the goal.
Let the balance of light and shadow falling on paper be your anchor.
Enjoy connection and tea to close the experience.
What to Bring
Your own sketchbook. Charcoal will be provided for drawing, and you are welcome to bring any preferred materials.
What to Wear
Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for sitting and walking outdoors. Enclosed shoes are recommended for exploring the grounds.
