[Komorebi (木漏れ日) is a Japanese word describing the dappled light that filters through the leaves of trees]
A mindful creative gathering for adults seeking calm, connection, and creative expression in community. No artistic experience is needed, this is an invitation to slow down, observe closely, and reconnect with the natural world through drawing.
Held within the natural surrounds of Art Sanctuary, Komorebi combines mindful observation, simple drawing practices, and quiet reflection in a relaxed and supportive environment with very low barriers to entry.
Together, we explore light, shadow, texture, and form through nature-based drawing exercises designed to “turn on the eyes” and awaken creative presence rather than technical perfection.
Enjoy connection and tea to close the experience.
