The BhuMeJha Project

Escape into nature for an immersive evening of ceremony and culture, song and dance, storytelling, ritual and reflection. A connection across lands. A symposium of cultures.

The BhuMeJha Project is an ongoing pursuit for connection between the ancient cultures of Gondwanaland. More than just a performance, it’s an experience, an expression that reflects upon a bond that transcends time and goes beyond land.

Join us at The Art Sanctuary in the Perth Hills, a space of healing, peace and harmony. A place where creativity arrives, art thrives and ideas flourish. Share a meal, a conversation as we embark on an agelong journey hoping to encounter something new.

This special evening will see celebrated Wagilak Yolŋu songman and ceremonial leader Daniel Wilfred from Ngukurr (Arnhem Land) interact with dancers, musicians and elders from Noongar Boodjar, India and Malaysia in a performance experience that invokes the stories of rivers and the land, across generations.
