where the magic happens

Art, nature and community gather in quiet harmony

Tucked in the quiet Armadale Hills, just 40 minutes from Perth, The Art Sanctuary Foundation rests between forest and sky.

We are creating a space where healing belongs to everyone, not just those who can afford to escape the city, through festivals, workshops and shared healing traditions

" This is Armadale’s quiet revolution where creative expression and community itself become the artists of healing

The Art Sanctuary Foundation was born from a simple idea that art, nature and compassion can heal communities as deeply as they inspire them.

Nestled in the tranquil Perth Hills of Armadale, we are a living network of creativity, healing and service, bringing together artists, healers educators and changemakers to nurture wellbeing, belonging and beauty on this land.

For over four decades, our sister institutions have quietly shaped Perth’s cultural and spiritual fabric from Saraswati Mahavidhyalaya, offering classes in traditional arts, to Annalakshmi, the “pay what you feel” restaurant, to ChitAmbara, our creative incubator for world-class collaborations.

Now, we bring these roots together, creating Western Australia’s most authentic healing destination.

At the heart of our work lies an inclusive mission to make Armadale WA's most Authentic Healing Destination

We offer healing therapies, retreats, festivals and creative programs that reconnect people to the land and to each other. From Ayurvedic consultations and meditation circles to cow-therapy experiences in our serene Goshala, where gentle connection with these sacred animals restores calm, empathy and presence.

We exist to heal through creative expression, celebrate the spirit of culture and restore balance between people, animals and the Earth.
